St Katharine's is a stop on the Pilgrims' Way. The Pilgrims' Way is a historical route taken by followers of faith. The route starts from Winchester Cathedral in Hampshire to the shrine of Thomas Becket at Canterbury Cathedral, Kent. The name is comparatively recent, but is applied to the ancient trackway that has ben in existence probably since the Stone Age.
